At age 18, he became the student of Zygmunt Kubala, a music professor at the University of Music in Curitiba, Brazil. He took part in the masterclass of Aldo Parisot. Soon his success in a music competition awarded him a scholarship at the Herbert von Karajan Foundation. He polished his talent further under the supervision Eberhard Finke, principal cellist of the Berliner Philharmoniker. With the guidance of Prof. Csaba Onczay, he had a two-year training at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. His training also included masterclasses with Antonio Meneses, Gerhard Mantel, William Pleeth and Paul Tortelier.

He has held several cello and chamber music masterclasses in Germany, France, Brazil, the US and Japan.

He will be assisted at the piano by Ilusorio who studied at the Juilliard School in New York and Oberlin Conservatory of Music.  She took further studies with eminent piano pedogague Arie Vardi at the State Academy of Music in Hannover.  She had won several international prizes, including the special prize at the 14th Rina Salo Gallo International Competition in Italy,  Maria Canals Piano Competition in Barcelona, the East Friesland Piano Prize in 1999 in Germany and the grand prize in the Carlo Soliva International Piano Competition 2000 which enabled her to perform critically acclaimed piano recitals in various European cities.
