About the Venue:
The theater has four levels: Orchestra, Boxes, Balcony I and Balcony II
and is able to accomodate a total of 1,821 guests. The theater has a
split orchestra pit floor and is equipped to meet the requirements of large
theatrical production such as ballets, operas, symphonic concerts and other musicals.
The Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo (TNA) or the CCP Main Theater
is named after Nicanor Abelardo who redefined the kundiman
and elevated it to artistic heights through his compositions such as Nasaan Ka Irog?,
Bituing Marikit, Magbalik Ka Hirang, Kundiman ng Luha, and Mutya ng Pasig.
Upon entering the orchestra section, guests are greeted by National Artist for Visual
Arts Vicente Manansala's brass sculpture "The Seven Arts".
It also features a house curtain tapestry patterned after the
"Genesis" (Simula) painting of the late National Artist Hernando Ocampo.

How to get there:
From the airport : Take a car or taxi towards Roxas Boulevard
and get in the u-turn lane. On the same road, make a right onto Coastal
Shopping Mall, then right onto President Macapagal Boulevard
and head straight on for the Cultural Centre of the Philippines Complex.
From LRT Station of Vito Cruz : Below LRT station of Vito Cruz,
take VITO CRUZ road (going Roxas Blvd.), it will lead you to PEDRO BUKANEG
road which is an access to CCP Complex area.
If you dont have a private vehicle, from Vito Cruz LRT station -
walk to VITO CRUZ going Roxas Blvd. - before RIZAL MEMORIAL STADIUM
there's a vehicle (jeepney type) that will lead you to CCP complex area,
just inform the driver about your desired destination.
